Social Science Minor: American Studies

A minor in American Studies provides students with a concentration in U.S. history, politics, and social institutions. It draws from the disciplines of history, sociology, political science, anthropology, and literature. A minor in this field affords students a perspective on American society that provides students with historical and socio-political depth with which to understand current affairs in the U.S.
